You know you've made something too often when you know the recipe by heart (and I sit here writing it out from memory).... it kinda helps that it only includes 4 ingredients and is absolutely delicious. This is a recipe that goes way back for me to my teens at high school ....what can I say it's just timeless and time efficient taking only 15mins. I know this will resonate with a lot of Aussies and if you have a spare 15 try it, it's a guaranteed winner !!

RECIPE 

  • 3 x 65g Mars Bars chopped 
  • 90g butter
  • 3 cups Rice Bubbles 
  • 200g Milk Chocolate (I used Galaxy)
  1. Line a baking tray with wax paper 
  2. Combine chopped mars bars and butter in a saucepan over low heat stir constantly until smooth
  3. Take off the heat and stir in the rice bubbles  
  4. Spoon and spread mixture out evenly onto the wax paper 
  5. Set up a water bath and melt the chocolate stir until smooth 
  6. Spread the chocolate evenly over the rice bubble mixture and refrigerate
